Aging and the Arts Poetry Circle: EcoPoetry

New location for the spring!

This spring, the Aging and the Arts Poetry Circle will meet at the University of Arizona Poetry Center, a beautiful indoor/outdoor space with appropriate room for social distancing.

Join us for a monthly poetry discussion led by UArizona Poetry Center docents. This event is free, and no preparation or knowledge of poetry is necessary to participate. A reading packet will be shared. For anyone who enjoys poetry or learning more about poets in a conversational setting, this informal gathering includes many opportunities to contribute to the conversation and ask questions. It is also a great way to meet people in the community who have similar interests.

We are kicking off the spring season with a discussion of EcoPoetry. It will feature a range of poets, including work by Wendy Burk, Alison Hawthorne Deming, Natalie Diaz, Joy Harjo, Tony Hoagland, Eric Magrane, W.S. Merwin, Czelaw Milosz, N. Scott Momaday, Simon J. Ortiz, Mary Oliver, Ofelia Zepeda, and Robert Bly.

The University of Arizona Poetry Center is located at 1508 E. Helen St., Tucson, AZ 85721. Complimentary parking will be available adjacent to the building.

Please register by February 17.
